Establishing a set of courses and programmes in English is a strategic goal of the UrFU's international policy. Today, the University is developing Master’s degree programmes in power engineering, information systems and technologies, financial economics and management. Moreover, a Master’s degree programme in Russian Studies is being prepared; this will include the sociology, politics, history, and philology of modern Russia.
