Summer School "Sustainable Business Development"

Ekaterinburg is a candidate city to host the FIFA World Cup 2018, EXPO 2020. This is the city of opportunities, situated on the border of Europe and Asia. There are major Russian and international companies that combine the management technologies here. The participation in the Summer School is not only the possibility to express yourself and obtain valuable knowledge, but cross-cultural experience as well.
The School is organized by the Graduate School of Economics and Management and the Institute of Radioelectronics and Information Technologies of Ural Federal University.
The School is held entirely in English. Application Deadline is May, 10th, 2013.
Who?:
Students, Master and Ph.D. students, young professionals in the field of international business and sustainable development, as well as employees of educational institutions, regional companies, NGOs and private foundations.
Why?
The Summer School facilitates the knowledge exchange in the field of sustainable business development, provides the opportunities of international scientific experience as well as qualifies the participants to work with social responsible business technologies and efficient information technologies in business. The Summer School is aimed to knowledge exchange, establishment of new international contacts, scientific discussions about sustainable development.
Special Features
The participants will attend the INNOPROM 2013 and will participate in the project sessions of the Ural companies.

The application (in English) must include the following documents in a one single pdf file:
- A letter of application stating your motivation for participation and your special interest in the Summer School topics,
- A short CV with personal data (please add list: Surname, First Name, Gender, Organization (in English), Department (in English), City, Country, Phone, E-Mail (one address only), PhD-candidate (yes or no), student (yes or no),
- A recent passport size portrait photo,
- A short description of your present duties/position and your personal professional goals indicating your envisaged field of activities and duty level or showing a connection or co-operation with private businesses,
- If you need travel visa assistance please provide passport data(number, issued, valid)
- An extended abstract on topics related to the Summer School; extended abstracts must not exceed two pages; please use font type “Arial”, font size 11 with 1.5 line spacing
