UrFU creates three joint laboratories in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences

Ural scientists and their foreign colleagues will study climate, energy and magnetism

Laboratory of Climate and Environment, Magnetism and Magnetic Nanostructures, as well as High-Temperature Devices for the Distribution of Electrochemical Energy have been created in Ural Federal University and the Ural Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The rector of the university Victor Koksharov and the directors of the Ural Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences have signed the establishment orders last week in the presence of the Chairman of UrFU Supervisory Board Dmitry Pumpyansky and other members of the board.

On the part of the Ural Division of the RAS, orders have been signed by the director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics Nikolay Lukoyanov, the director of the Institute of Metal Physics Vladimir Ustinov and acting director of the Institute of High Temperature Electrochemistry Alexander Dedyukhin.

We would like to remind that the agreement on creation of three laboratories under the supervision of the leading Russian and foreign scientists was reached on April 6 at the previous meeting of UrFU Supervisory Board in Moscow.
