The new museum was opened at UrFU on its birthday

One of the unique exhibits is the student's record-book of the first Russian President Boris Yeltsin

Today is the 96th birthday of the university and the day of the opening of the museum and exhibition center after the reconstruction. The museum has plenty of exhibits, which include student's record-book of the first president of Russia, Boris Yeltsin, a graduate of the Civil Engineering Faculty.

Famous graduates of the university visited the unique exhibition, created with Panasonic's advanced technologies. The number of guests includes the graduate of Metallurgical Faculty Senator Arkady Chernetskiy, whose student's record-book will also be exhibited in the museum, the head of Ekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman, who graduated from the Faculty of History.

"Any new museum in the city, especially in the university, is a significant event. I congratulate everybody!” said Yevgeny Roizman.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
