Cooperation with Mongolian universities will begin with an academic staff exchange

The priority in cooperation with Mongolian State University of Science and Technology is double degree master programs

Ural Federal University continues internationalization of the education system of Ekaterinburg. UrFU was visited by a delegation from Mongolia: Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Mongolian State University of Science and Technology  P. Zhargaltuyaa, Director of mining and geological institute B. Chinzorig and an employee of the same institute A. Temuulen.

UrFU rector Victor Koksharov discussed the possibility of implementing double degree master programs, as well as cooperation in the field of youth science with the Mongolian delegation.

Purvee Zhargaltuyaa agreed with the rector of Ural Federal University and promised to select the coordinators, who will develop a plan of exchange programs together with colleagues from Ural Federal University.

In 2013, a cooperation agreement between Mongolian State University of Science and Technology and UrFU has already been signed, but active work on it began only recently.

"We are ready to sign an additional protocol to ensure the lasting working of our agreement. On December 15 and 16 our First Vice-Rector Anatoly Matern will visit Ulaanbaatar and I hope that we can reach some specific agreements", - said Victor Koksharov.
