Italian scientists will meet with the students

Professors from Polytechnic University of Turin will share their experience in sustainable energy

On February 24-27, the delegation from the Polytechnic University of Turin will visit Ural Federal University. Professor Giuseppe Genon, Deborah Panepinto and Francesco Vidzhiano will meet with students during the interdisciplinary seminar on Sustainable Energy, organized by UrFU Research and Education Centre "ENGEC" and Sinara Group.

The event will be held in English, the program includes discussion of scenarios and technologies for energy production from a variety of traditional and alternative sources, environmental risks associated with the formation of greenhouse gases, negative impacts on air and water quality, regional aspects of energy production and consumption, waste management. The issues to assess production and social costs, the total cost of energy tariffs, relations in the energy market, stimulating investment, government support measures, the problem of training highly skilled managers in the energy sector will also be covered.

Session of the first day will be held in the Academic Council Hall (Mira, 19), during the other days sessions will be held in the conference room of Sinara Group (Rosy Luxemburg, 51).
