Culture in politics and politics in culture will be discussed at the university

Discussions will be held within the frames of a project implemented in collaboration with the universities of the Scandinavian countries

Institute of Social and Political Sciences of Ural Federal University organizes a series of lectures on culture and politics within the frames of a joint project with universities of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The Discussions on the topic "Culture in politics - politics in culture" will be held from February 25 until March 2 in the campus on Lenina, 51, room 314. The participants of the international project are professors and students of universities of Copenhagen, Malmö, Lund, Tromso and Southern Denmark, and of course Ural Federal University.

The second series of lectures will be held at the University of Copenhagen in April 2015. The aim of the project is the development of a joint training course, which will be available online. The course focuses on topical issues of politics and culture of Russia and the Scandinavian countries and their mutual reflection in academic research and in education. The lectures are open.
