Bulgarian KGB general Todor Boyadzhiev met with students of Ural Federal University and presented his documentary book about one of the leaders of British intelligence and the agent of Soviet intelligence - Kim Philby.

The book "The intelligence agent. Kim Philby. The Man" has been written by the author on the basis of meetings with friends, friends and enemies of the British agent.

"I personally knew Kim Philby since May 17, 1973. During the 15 years of friendship, we lived under one roof for more than six months - he visited Bulgaria, - says Todor Boyadzhiev. - The book is not a memoir. It is based on actual memories, documents, letters - we corresponded via diplomatic pouch. It is an investigation; I was looking for the truth about Kim Philby, communicating with his family, friends, acquaintances and enemies".

At a meeting at UrFU on April 24, the Bulgarian general told a few stories from his life and gave advice on how to become an intelligence agent. He worked in the Bulgarian intelligence service for 30 years and in the end became deputy chief.
