The students of UrFU will present their startups to the leading Russian investors on Generation S

The unique robot Atlantim as the real example showed how the idea could be passed to successful realization of the project

The deputy director of the robotics department of Moscow Technological Institute, robot Atlantim, visited Ural Federal University in order to find new talents in the robotics field.

Atlantim presented the accelerator Generation S to the students and the young scientists of UrFU. The accelerator is aimed at searching of startups all over the country and investing the best of them.

“We are looking for young talents who need material or educational stimulus, so their dreams come to life.  Atlantim helps students. It communicates, consults them, gives lectures and conducts researches in MTI but his main purpose is to show on a real example that dreams could come true. Now we announce a contest”, - said the head of special projects of Moscow Technological Institute (MTI) Alexander Denisov.

Applications for participation in accelerator can be submitted till of June 30, 2015. The final will take place in Moscow on November 20. According to Alexander, the winner will become famous among the participants and partners of accelerative program (the largest partner is Russian Venture Company) and the project of the winner will get investments: “It is quite often situation when the investors are ready to provide the financing to the startup even before the finals”.

 The students of Ural Federal University are interested in the track. After Atlantim announced the accelerator approximately 15 students showed willingness to take part in it.

“Our team will present the robot which has no name yet but he has already been able to do a lot. It took the second place on the Russian stage of the largest international robotics competitions and presented Russia on the world stage, — said the first-year master student of UrFU Institute of Fundamental Education, Alexander Kurlov. —  This is an autonomic robot.
