Graduates of UrFU majoring in Physics and Astronomy earn more than graduates of other universities in the Urals

Ural Federal University was listed among leaders in average wage of graduates in the Ural region

According to the results of the monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Bachelors of Physics and Astronomy from Ural Federal University earned on average 76,1 thousand rubles.

Among the highest-paid Bachelors of UrFU there are also Bachelors of Humanities: Bachelors of Political Sciences and Regional Studies earned on average 35,2 thousand rubles in the first year of their employment.

On the top of the list are also Bachelors of Chemistry (their average wage is 28,9 thousand rubles), the graduates of "Electronics, Radio-engineering and Telecommunication Systems", "Physical Education and Sport" (28,3) and "Informatics and Computer Science" (26,7).

Among the main universities of the Ural Region, UrFU is also in the top-3 of well-paid Master graduates. The average wage of Masters of "Electrical Engineering" and "Heat Engineering" after their graduation from UrFU equals to 49,8 thousand rubles. This information is based on the analysis of the University's positions in the employment rating, which was conducted by the Department of Strategic Development and Marketing of the University.

The students of the directions "Economics" and "Management", graduated from UrFU, earn on average 43,3 thousand rubles a month, the IT-specialists - 43,6 thousand rubles, the Masters of "Electronics, Radio-engineering and Telecommunication Systems" - 41,4 thousand rubles.

Political Sciences and Regional Studies (the average wage is 30,7 thousand rubles), Material Studies and Technology (33,7), Linguistics and Literary Science (27,4) are among the five leading Master directions at UrFU.

The first results of the monitoring of employment of Russian universities' graduates, based on the information from the Pension Fund of Russia, were prepared by the specialists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
