Legendary artists will perform at the university square

On the first day of autumn, a legendary rock group "Gorky Park" and Olga Kormuhina will perform at the square in front of the university

On September 1, the legends of Russian rock music, "Gorky Park" and Olga Kormuhina will perform in front of the main building of Ural Federal University (Mira, 19). The concert will start at 18:00. Entrance to the concert is free.

"Gorky Park" is a Soviet and Russian cult rock band formed in 1987. At the end of the 80s it became popular even in the United States and became the first Soviet band, which signed a recording contract with the studio «Polygram», appeared in "top 15"  on MTV and entered «Billboard 200." The group became famous worldwide for hits «Moscow Salling», «Bang», «Stare», «Stranger», «My Generation» and many others.

Kormuhina Olga debuted as a singer in 1980 at the Russian jazz festival "Nizhny Novgorod Spring" won the Grand Prix in the category "best solo vocal". Olga is a winner of "Ovation" Award in the category "Best Rock Singer" (1992). In 2012 Olga returns to the scene with the album "Falling to Heaven» after a long break. In 2013, she won the television competition "Two stars".
