UrFU students entered the Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk Region

Maxim Sannikov has been appointed Minister of Education in the regional youth government

Youth Government is an advisory body under the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, which serves as a career starting point in the system of government for the most talented, initiative, professional young people.

The students of Ural Federal University entered the third Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. Third-year student of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Building Maxim Sannikov became the head of the youth ministry of Education of the region.

The duties of the young minister include expert-analytical activity: the development of documents, participation in events that require estimation; implementation of projects, public and media activity.

Also, in the third Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk region includes a few students and staff members of UrFU: Olga Stepchenko, the first-year postgraduate student, and Alexandera Yalukhina, the fourth-year student of the Institute of Public Management and Entrepreneurship. Olga holds the position of the first deputy chairman of the Youth Government, and Alexandera is a deputy chairman of the Youth Government. Student of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sport and Youth Policy Maria Shchapova became the Minister of Sports.

The director of the volunteer center of UrFU Alexander Antimonov and the lecturer of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences Maxim Kyrchikov became Vice-chairmen of the Youth Government.
