The funds for the implementation of Viktor Grokhovsky’s ideas are being raised on the crowdfunding platform

Within two months the fund managed to raise 226, 150 roubles and to collect 49 sponsors to carry out a meteor expedition to the Antarctic.

Ural Federal University managed to raise some funds via crowdfunding platform ‘Boomstarter’ to launch the First Russian Meteor Expedition to the Antarctic led by UrFU.

Initially, it was supposed to raise 222, 223 roubles. As a result, however, 226,150 roubles were collected and 49 sponsors were found.

The funding of this significant project is still ongoing. By the end of this year the Russian scientists will have started investigating meteor fields in the Wohlthat Mountains (100 km from  Novolazarevskaya Station). Anyone who wants to support the expedition could do it on the web-site or to send a message with «urfu amount»  in text to 3443 number.
