The participants develop new projects of commercialization of products and services for the titanium industry

The second of two training programs for member organizations of Titanium Cluster of the Sverdlovsk Region "Management of innovative projects" was launched on October 30 by UrFU Innovative System. It is planned to improve existing and develop new projects of commercialization of products and services for the titanium industry, in particular, to run the examination of technological and economic attractiveness, to form a "road map" of the projects and intellectual property protection strategy, to prepare presentations for financial support from public and private sources. In addition, it is also planned to select partners for further development.

The program consists of three modules. The participants have already passed the first module "Features of creation and development of innovative products." There are three more left.

The implementation of the first program "Development of innovative ecosystems" started in October. Training will last until the end of this year. It is necessary to identify opportunities for strengthening the industrial and research co-operation of cluster members, form the mechanism of certification of innovative products for the titanium industry and the commercialization of scientific and technical developments and innovative products. It is also planned to work out a short term "road map" of Titanium cluster and joint innovative projects of participating organizations. The participants included the heads and specialists of the Special Economic Zone “Titanium Valley ", Interstate Association "Titan" and "UralNITI", the Institute of Economics of UB RAS, small businesses "New metallurgy" and " Ural factory of innovation."
