New economic journal published by Ural Federal University invites science writers to submit their research papers

A new electronic economic journal has been established by UrFU and the Institute of Economics

“R-Economy” journal was established in 2015 by Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin and the Institute of Economics, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal is published four times a year.

“R-Economy” is a macroeconomic research and practice journal publishing research results in a wide range of economic topics connected with socioeconomic development of Russian regions and regional cross-industry networks, economic security, government regulation of regional development and integration of Russain Federation into global socioeconomic processes.

The editorial staff of the periodical includes leading Russian and foreign scholars representing academic and higher education communities.

The goal of the “R-Economy” editorial board is to achieve a new quality level of publishing that employs modern information technology, thus improving the journal’s international recognition. Another goal is to include the publication into Scopus database and Web of Science Core Collection.

The editorial board of the economic electronic journal “R-Economy” encourages scientific writers and reviewers to submit their articles for publication in the journal free of charge. We are ready to discuss any possible forms of cooperation with academic economists. We are also looking for English-speaking people who would like to become members of the editorial stuff.

On agreement between the editorial boards of “R-Economy” and “Economics of the Region” journals, selected articles submitted to “R-Economy” will simultaneously be published in “Economics of the Region” journal in Russian language.
