Sergey Kortov told about the importance of interaction potential realization

In the coming years Ural Federal University plans to pay special attention to cooperation with the enterprises of Mongolia to address their key challenges. According to UrFU First Vice-Rector Sergey Kortov, who presented the results of the delegation's visit to Mongolia at the press conference in "ITAR-TASS", today the University is able to offer Mongolian companies mutually beneficial ways of cooperation in various fields. One of them is the mining industry.

One of the variants of accomplishing this task is the agreement to establish a research and innovation center at the Mongolian State University of Science and Technology in Ulan Bator. The center will provide the most advanced technical solutions that will be in demand by Mongolian companies. In addition to the mining areas such areas as energy, metals and construction are also very promising.

Sergey Kortov also noted the exceptional importance of developing relations with Mongolia and increasing cooperation between UrFU and Mongolian universities in the field of science and education.
