The President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman Became Doctor Honoris Causa of Ural Federal University

Rector of Ural Federal University Victor Koksharov presented the academic gown, the hat and the diploma of Honorary Doctor to the President

During his official visit to Russia, the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman visited the city of Ekaterinburg, took part in the opening ceremony of the Czech Republic-Russia Business Forum and participated in a number of meetings.

After a meeting at the Residence of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Rector of UrFU Victor Koksharov solemnly awarded Miloš Zeman with the academic gown, cap and diploma of Doctor Honoris Causa of UrFU, thanking him for his invaluable contribution to the development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation. In his speech, the President of the Czech Republic expressed his hope that in the future he would give a lecture at Ural Federal University as Honorary Doctor.
