Experts will consider customs procedures for the Silk Road

The participants of the seminar will discuss tax instruments for the Russian-Chinese project

On December 13, Ural Federal University hosts the Russian-Chinese seminar (international conference) on fiscal problems in the development of the Silk Road Economic Belt. Experts will discuss the problems and prospects of the project, new trends in tax reform in China, customs procedures and the possibility of applying uniform VAT rates in the two countries and other topics.

The purpose of the project is to substantiate the prospects for applying the status of a special economic zone with a single taxation regime and a single procedure for a free customs zone throughout the Silk Road. According to experts, a unified approach will allow to harmonize the fiscal interests of Russia and China.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
