Days of South Bohemia in Sverdlovsk region could become one of the joint events

Archaeological museum suitcases of artifacts for school and university students, Days of the South Bohemia in the Sverdlovsk Region, University Days, student exchange programs - these and other options for cooperation were proposed by the South Bohemian delegation to the Ural Federal University. Representatives from the Czech Republic visited the University on October 4.

One of the delegation’s members, Philip Lysek, director of the regional museum of the city of Český Krumlov made a proposition to organize a festival with archaeologists.

“In recent years, we have been paying special attention to the development and popularization of archeology. We are holding an event for the general public. It takes place on weekends in the park, where a settlement has been located since the Stone Age,” explains Philip Lysek. – The bottom line is that for two consecutive days 150 professional lecturers-archaeologists demonstrate the lifestyle of that time: the technologies, the food people ate, the ways clothes were made, etc. We suggest organizing a similar event with you.”

Other points of contact are scientific conferences, workshops, symposia, and an increase in exchange among students and teachers.

UrFU has established partnerships with 14 universities in Czechia. To date, a protocol has been signed for the implementation of a joint project with the Technical and Economic Institute of the city of České Budějovice to create the UrFU Educational and Scientific Center of the Czech Republic. In addition, a protocol was signed between Ural Federal University and Academy Learning – an organization specialized in the creation and support of international educational projects – starting the joint implementation of Academy Learning – Ural.
