Registration for the new season of CASE-IN engineering championship has started

Registration for the CASE-IN international engineering championship is now open for participants and experts. The main stage of the championship will last five months and will end with the final in Moscow at the end of May 2022. The participants will have to solve problems on the subject of "Industry 4.0". The qualifying stages of the anniversary season will also be held at Ural Federal University.

Undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students of up to 25 years of age in all areas of specialization can participate.

The single theme of the 2022 season "Industry 4.0" will cover all engineering cases and other tasks that will be developed by the championship partners - companies from the fuel and energy and mineral industries, nuclear industry and related sectors.

"Industry 4.0 means the all-encompassing implementation of modern technologies, artificial intelligence, robotization and digitalization of all processes, augmented and virtual reality into our lives. It is up to the young generation to realize the benefits of the fourth industrial revolution. We are waiting for ideas from the participants of the championship, which will lead to the creation of new directions and products that increase productivity, competitiveness and safety in key sectors of the economy of our country," said the founder and co-chairman of the CASE-IN organizing committee Artem Korolev.

In Ural Federal University, participants will defend their solutions to engineering cases in five areas: petrochemistry, electric power, project engineering, metallurgy, and digital atom. The students' solutions will be evaluated by the expert committee, which will include representatives of the championship partner companies and the university, as well as representatives of the university's teaching staff.

For students who performed well at the forum, there are preferential conditions for admission to graduate and postgraduate programs. To participate in the championship it is necessary to register.
