UrFU Library in Numbers

UrFU Library is an up-to-date information center providing access to the multidisciplinary collection of electronic and printed editions. The library holds an extensive collection which includes about 3 mln educational and scientific items in the Russian and foreign languages. You can find periodicals and a unique collection of rare books from the 18th–19th centuries. The online catalogue helps you search our collections. You get a remote access to the textbooks from Electornic Library Systems. Articles from the world scientific databases are available in the Library Information Centers.

Your student card lets you use our university’s information resources and take books or journals in any department of the library. Moreover, you can visit the library website and search for required items through the online catalogue.

Study materials can be taken for a semester. At the end of every semester students are obligated to return the books or prolongate the using period either in person or online through our library's VK page. All the books must be returned until summer holidays.
