Rector of the University met with his colleagues from South Korea

The second Russian Forum of Rectors of the leading universities of Russia and Korea took place on Russky Island

Rector of Ural Federal University, Victor Koksharov took part in the meeting of South Korean and Russian universities, held at the end of the week in Vladivostok in Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).

The rectors discussed issues of international contacts between universities and the experience of relations between the two countries in the field of higher education. The students and representatives of public and scientific organizations also participated in the forum. The meeting was held at the Forum "Dialogue: Russia - Republic of Korea."

FEFU Rector Sergey Ivaniets said that the problems, which stand between universities in both countries are similar, and the Rectors' Forum is the best platform for the development of effective solutions of urgent problems.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
