Signed a contract to equip the university with radio equipment of the latest generation

The new educational laboratory, equipped with the most modern radio equipment will be established in Ural Federal University. The corresponding agreement was signed on October 21 Rector Ural Federal University Viktor Koksharov, vice president Keysayt Technologies Benoit Neel and CEO of the Russian branch of the company, Galina Smirnova.

New Laboratory for CAD will be created at UrFU Institute of Radio Electronics and Information Technology. It will be used to teach students general electronics, RF, microwave, wireless, digital and embedded systems. Company Keysight Technologies will give the university CAD software license for use in the educational process. The organizations will cooperate in the field of development, improvement and presentation of educational programs, increase student interest in Keysayt Technologies and certification of specialists.

According to the vice-president of Keysight Technologies, the cooperation with Ural Federal University will be beneficial in solving series of tasks.

"Communication with the universities plays a very important role for us, - says Benoit Neel. - It is our strategic direction. We successfully implement the program of alliances with universities around the world through grants, procurement of equipment for educational laboratories, students’ internships, and a number of other projects. I consider it very important that students are trained in the most advanced equipment. "

In addition to opening a new laboratory the future plans include establishing a research center in Ural Federal University on the basis of the most modern and advanced means of radio measurements of Keysayt Technologies.
