The new center will raise the level of practice-oriented training

On December 17, the Institute of Radio Electronics and Information Technologies has the Student Centre of High Technologies, which will enable students to effectively pass educational program not only during lectures, but also in practice. The students will have a chance to form a professional competence through the implementation of real practical problems.

The new center is equipped with all necessary devices for quality practice-based learning. List of installed equipment is truly impressive: 3D printers, manual stencil printer for solder paste or adhesive, semi-automatic  device for installation of components with small increments, automatic device for installation of components, printed circuit boards cleaning system, systems of visual inspection of printed circuit boards and the quality of the soldering, convection convey oven, brazing station, modular devices National Instruments, including generators and signal analyzers, power meters, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes.

According to the Director of the Institute of Radio Electronics and Information Technologies Sergey Shabunin, it will be possible provide a variety of services in the center: to develop and design the device electronics, implements automated and manual assembly of printed circuit boards, to conduct technical control with the use of high-tech equipment, as well as manufacturing and testing of wireless devices.

At the opening of the Rector of Ural Federal University Rector, Victor Koksharov, noted that the new center is able to be of great benefit in both the learning process of students and the process of solving the real problems of industrial enterprises.
