German-Russian Summer School came to an end

The final day included excursion and official ceremony

Last Friday, two-week program of the German-Russian Summer School on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has been completed. It gathered 40 students, 23 of which came from Germany in order to participate in the program. The initiators of the event became Ural Federal University and Technical University of Berlin (EUREF).

Throughout the duration of the summer school students have been working on their projects, the results of which were presented to the organizers and lecturers at the Training Center of "IDGC of Urals". The official closing ceremony was held at the museum and historical complex "Chudovy istoki" in Chudovo village of Sverdlovsk region. The students received diplomas of the training course completion.

Joint German-Russian Summer School “Ways of Development of the Energy Sector. Modern Challenges” took place in Ekaterinburg on August 15 - 26. The keynote speakers of the official opening were Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Doctor Honoris Causa of Ural Federal University, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany and Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
