UrFU Representative Joined the Executive Committee of IYPT

Olga Inisheva became a member of International Young Physicists' Tournament executive committee

Olga Inisheva is the Deputy Director of UrFU Lyceum. Since 1997, Olga Inisheva led the teams, which for many years were leading teams of the All-Russian tournament and represented our country at IYPT in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Finland, Ukraine.

In 2010 UrFU Professor Vladimir Kruzhaev (now UrFU Vice-Rector for Science, Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences) had visited IYPT for the first time. After it he work really hard to promote UrFU application to conduct IYPT-2016.

Two years ago IYPT international committee chose UrFU application: in 2016 International Young Physicists' Tournament will take place in Ekaterinburg.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
