Ural Federal University and Mongolian University of Science and Technology will jointly develop projects in Mongolia

Victor Koksharov and Baataryn Ochirbat signed a memorandum of understanding to create Joint Project Institute in Mongolia

The joint capacity of the two largest universities in Russia and Mongolia - Ural Federal University and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology - will be involved in the development of the projects in Mongolia.

During the visit, the delegation of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology to Ural Federal University, the parties signed a memorandum on the establishment of a Joint Project Institute, a form of legal cooperation structure, which was chosen by both universities. The parties agreed to establish a working group of the project, the development of the concept and business plan. The result of this meeting was the establishment of the Project Institute, which meets the real needs of Mongolia's economy. Document was signed by the rector of Ural Federal University Victor Koksharov and theRector of Mongolian University of Science and Technology Baataryn Ochirbat.

"Today Project Institute of UrFU has all the necessary technology, educational programs in the field of training specialists for the design and construction of industrial plants, - said UrFU Rector after the signing of the memorandum. - We are ready to share these competencies with our Mongolian partners. We know that Mongolia has plans to establish new enterprises, especially metallurgical and mining. In this regard, the establishment of the Project Institute has the particular relevance. "
