Russian-German Summer School will take place in Berlin

This year the Summer School will be organized for the third time

Traditional Russian-German Summer School on Energy will take place on July 24 – August 4 in TU-Campus EUREF. This year the list of participants from UrFU will include the students of Ural Power Engineering Institute and the Graduate School of Economics and Management.

"Last year the school was aimed at addressing the problems of urban infrastructure. This year we plan to focus on the problems of the world energy-efficient complex," said Professor of UrFU Power Engineering Institute Sergei Kokin. 

The program will include block of lectures, cases, workshops, excursions and entertainment part.

It is expected that the school will be opened by the German President, Honorary Doctor of Ural Federal University, Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the rector of Ural Federal University Victor Koksharov. The top-management of IDGC of Urals and representatives of well-known German energy companies will also take part in the event.

This year the Russian-German Summer School on Energy will be organized for the third time. In 2016, it took place in Ekaterinburg at Ural Federal University. It was opened by Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
