The results of the meeting in Crimea

The cooperation between federal universities has been discussed in Simferopol by the rectors

UrFU Rector Victor Koksharov and his colleagues from other federal universities of Russia took part in a conference in Simferopol. The main topic of the meeting was the concept of establishment and development of Crimea Federal University, the tenth federal university in Russia.

According to press-service of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the representatives of the Government  of the Republic of Crimea, ministry representatives, rectors of federal universities and experts of business school “Skolkovo” participated in this conference.

Crimea Federal University will be created on the base of Taurida National V.I.Vernadsky University. It is supposed that the mission of the new university will be development of noosphere thought, which is important for understanding of the fundamental laws of Universe development.

The participants of the meeting discussed the results of cooperation between federal universities and the project “Club 10”. The agreement of cooperation between already existing universities and newly established university has been signed.
