School confirmed the high level of the educational programs

For the seventh time Business School of Ural Federal University entered the world ranking of top 1000 best schools according to the agency Eduniversal, ranking in the list of top Russian business schools in 12th place.

The program "MBA Master of strategies" was awarded two “palm branches”.

The new director Oleg Obukhov, who takes office in January 2015, will continue work on improving the international positioning.

Oleg Obukhov is the Deputy Director of the Higher School of Economics and Management, the head of the department of economics and quality management. His candidacy was unanimously approved by the Commission experts, who will make a proposal for the appointment of a new director of UFU Business School to the rector Victor Koksharov.

According to Oleg Obukhov, the main task is the creation and certification of the quality management system in order to improve the quality of educational services and the expansion of the educational programs. The emphasis on the high-level programs is the training of IT-directors (MBA) and programs in finance and marketing.

Rating Eduniversal, unlike Russian regional rankings, segments programs by the countries and types, evaluates the reputation among colleagues and competitors, identifies foreign partners and includes reviews of students and graduates.

MBA programs of international level are distinguished by the presence of the concept, the business model, copyright formats, expert position in business education, partnerships with enterprises, foreign business schools, regional authorities and  professional societies.
