UrFU scientists offer their developments to the leading industrial enterprises of Kazakhstan

The scientists of Ural Federal University are ready to solve the task of cleaning radioactive deposits from oil and gas processing equipment of companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It is now impossible to allow to reuse or recycle conveying system elements of Kazakh oil fields adjacent to the uranium deposits. The technology developed by UrFU researchers will help to solve this problem.

According to the director of UrFU Ural Power Engineering Institute, Sergey Sarapulov, the development of university scientists aroused interest among the members of the Russian-Kazakh Corporation "Aspan-Innovation", the key focus of which is green energy.

"In addition to energetics and ecology, we offer enterprises of Kazakhstan cooperation in the field of information technology, civil engineering, metallurgical and chemical industries, as well as a number of other areas in which we have a unique competence," - says UrFU rector, Victor Koksharov.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
