UrFU Plan to Launch Four Double Degree Programs Next Year

UrFU rector Victor Koksharov signed Memorandum of Cooperation with a partner from Kazakhstan

On November 14, Ural Federal University and Eurasian National University (ENU) named after L.N. Gumilev Memorandum of Understanding.

The event was held in Astana. UrFU rector Victor Koksharov and ENU First Vice-Rector Jamila Nurmanbetova on behalf of the Vice-Rector of Documents had signed the document.

Visit of UrFU rector to ENU was preceded by several working visits of university staff. Thus, the representatives of UrFU Institute of Physics and Technology agreed with his colleagues from the Faculty of Physical Engineering of ENU on the development and implementation of two joint master's programs in the field of nuclear physics.

In December, a delegation of UrFU Institute of Civil Engineering will participate in the scientific-practical conference "Architecture, construction and transport: problems and prospects of development", during which they will discuss upcoming two joint master’s programs with the colleagues from ENU.

We would like to remind that UrFU has been implementing a program of two diplomas on preventology among youth with other Kazakh partner, Al-Farabi University. The training is in English. Half of the students are from Russia, the other half is from Kazakhstan.
