UrFU and Led System Media have agreed on the joint development of LED technics

It is planned to implement several long-term projects for the exhibition EXPO-2017

Ural Federal University and the Kazakh company Led System Media have agreed to jointly produce LED technics. A memorandum was signed in Astana by UrFU Rector Victor Koksharov and the director of Led System Media Amangeldy Taukenov.

Cooperation will cover the issues of development and production of high-brightness LEDs, as well as the development and introduction of high-tech and energy-saving technologies. In particular, we are talking about the development of heat sinks powerful lamps and working with remote phosphor. The separate unit will coordinate cooperation with the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant. It is expected that the results of cooperation in a number of joint projects will be presented next year in Astana at the international exhibition EXPO-2017.

The parties have agreed to carry out a priority exchange of scientific and technical information and provide each other with all kinds of financial, technical and advisory assistance.
