The creative team successfully performed at the third European choral games

The Academic Student Choir of Ural Federal University was awarded two gold medals in the categories "Folklore" and "Mixed Choirs". The team successfully performed at the third European choral games, which took place in Riga. The choir became the best among the strongest voices of three dozen countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and America.

UrFU Academic Choir is the winner and laureate of Russian and foreign festivals and competitions. From 2006 to 2016 the participants were awarded eight grand prix of international choral competitions in Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic and Russia, 20 gold awards, 5 silver awards, 2 bronze medals of the international and national levels.

In 2014 and 2015 the team took part in the Moscow Easter Festival under the direction of Maestro Valery Gergiev.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
