Prestigious accreditation proves high quality of the program

The bachelor's program "International Economics and Business" of the Graduate School of Economics and Management successfully passed the audit of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and for the second time received the prestigious EPAS accreditation for a period of three years. The decision was made on June 13 by the accreditation council of EFMD through unanimous voting. 

Peer Review Team visited Graduate School of Economics and Management in February 2018. The PRT members emphasized significant changes in the programs, including curriculum development and internationalization, increased career opportunities for the students, integration of research and practical skills into the modules and active cooperation with corporate partners, and other quality improvements.

‘International accreditations are a major step in strengthening the School's position in the global market. However, it is not only the fact of education quality recognition that is valuable. The accreditation process included comprehensive audit of the program and the School. Leading experts in the field of business education gave us recommendations concerning further development that we accepted as growth trajectories', commented Director of Graduate School of Economics and Management Dmitry Tolmachev.

At present, only 106 programs in 80 universities all over the world have EPAS accreditation, including only 2 in Russia. "International Economics and Business" is the only educational program in the Russian regions to which EPAS accreditation was conferred.

Admission to the Bachelor's program will start on June 20.
