25 university volunteers will help organizers and participants of the event

Until September 30, everyone can apply for participation as volunteers in the World Winter Universiade, which. The final stage of the interviews with the candidates will last until the end of the autumn.

The Universiade will be held in Krasnoyarsk on March 2 - 12, 2019. The prospective volunteers can apply until September, 30. The final stage of the interviews with the candidates will last until the end of the autumn. Final lists of volunteers will be announced in December. Those who successfully pass all the stages are expected to attend courses of English and general trainings for volunteers.

The organizing committee of the Universiade inform that about 35 thousand people have already expressed desire to become volunteers of the largest student sports event. The volunteers will accompany delegates, help medical personnel and the staff in the village of the Universiade, meet participants and guests, work in information centers and transport service, help with translation, accompany delegates, etc.

In total, there will be 5 000 volunteers,  including 3 900 Krasnoyarsk residents and 1 100 representatives from other regions of Russia and abroad. Anyone who has reached the age of 18 can become a volunteer.
