Power Engineers Training in UrFU is Highly Esteemed on Global Scale

The prize was awarded based on the results of the Russian National Committee of CIGRE Youth Section Events

The Ural Federal University has been awarded “The Best University based on the Results of the Russian National Committee of CIGRE Youth Section Events” prize. The award was presented in Moscow to Stanislav Eroshenko, coordinator of the youth section in UrFU following the results of the annual School of Energetics Leaders.

The events’ partners were the Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System, the System Operator of the Unified Energy System, the “Reliable Successors” Charitable Foundation, etc. Mind you, all the projects led by the Russian National Committee (RNC CIGRE) are implemented under the auspices of UrFU Ural Power Engineering Institute.

According to Sergey Sarapulov, the Ural Power Engineering Institute Director, today the institute can be justly considered an advanced educational and research center in the field of electric power industry not only in Russia, but also, as practice has shown, on the international arena.
