Vienna Festival to Start with Austrian Ensemble’s Concert

The Festival will be held for 25 days

Vienna Music Film Festival will be held in Ekaterinburg on July 3–27. The traditional event on the main academic building square will start with a live concert of the “Yanoshka” ensemble from Vienna.

‘Two violinists, a pianist and a contrabassist will perform Bach, Rakhmaninov, Mozart pieces and John Lennon’s music. The concert’s program is based on the mix of classical music and improvisation,’ — the newspaper “Oblastnaya gazeta” reports.

It is planned that the Ambassador of Austria to Russia will take part in the festival’s opening ceremony.

The Vienna Festival program consists of 23 Europe’s best music films. The screenings will start daily at 20:00. On July 27 the festival will end with DJ performances. The festival organizers invite the younger audiences to participate: every year they prepare activities for children.

‘On Sundays the Vienna Festival’s big screen is devoted to the young viewers and those who want to go back to their childhood for a moment. On Sundays we watch music films for children!’ — the organizers add.

The festival’s guests will be able to have a quick meal and buy souvenirs on the food court and souvenir shops nearby.
