UrFU to Sign Several Important Agreements at “INNOPROM—2019”

The university prepared extensive program for the fair

The fair “INNOPROM—2019” will take place in Ekaterinburg on July 8–11. UrFU takes part in the exhibition annually to display innovative developments and sign cooperation agreements with different companies. According to UrFU First Vice-Rector Sergey Kortov, this year the university prepared the biggest program compared to the last few years. Usually UrFU holds 6 to 8 events, but this year there will be 12. Besides that, it is planned to sign 10–11 agreements. The highest priority on the agenda is given to the establishment of the interregional research and education center.

INNOPROM is an International Industrial Fair held in Ekaterinburg annually since 2010. It is the main industrial, trade and export platform in Russia. As one of the key sites of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, INNOPROM serves as a platform where the foundations of industrial policy are laid. About 80% of the exhibition visitors are professional buyers from around the world, specialists from industrial enterprises, who make decisions about the introduction of new products and technologies in the production.
