Navigator is the answer to everything

Looking to the new academic year, a fresh update of the UrFU Navigator website came out. The website is aimed at first-year students, but it might also come handy for those who are already enrolled.

UrFU Navigator serves to answer all the questions a University freshman has including structure of the study process, availability of sports facilities and medical services, locations of eating places etc…

The first day of the new study year is also marked by the new issue of the “Ural Federal University” newspaper released today, which is also fully focused on freshmen. The issue includes lots of useful information to help first-year students quickly navigate the university and succeed with their studies right from the start.

They will learn what a grade-rating system is, how minors are chosen, how to pursue an individual study track, master the project work, and succeed in computer-based tests, how electronic report-cards work and what scholarships can be applied for. In addition, this issue discusses the opportunities offered by the Ural Federal University Student Union. Readers will learn how to take their first steps in research, as well as about all the extracurricular activities.
