School on Neuropsychology to Be Held in UrFU in Late-August

On August 20–22, psychologists of UrFU will hold the II Summer International Neuropsychological Online School named after A. R. Luria "The world after the pandemic: challenges and prospects for neuroscience." Scientists from Russia, USA, Spain, Mexico, Belarus will make reports. They will also take part in discussions on such topics as neuro-linguistics, cultural-historical approach in neuroscience, neurorehabilitation and neuro correction, development of brain resources. The key results of the scientific marathon will be cross-cultural and interdisciplinary fundamental projects of young researchers led by leading scientists.

“Today, a neuropsychological interdisciplinary movement has developed in the Ural Institute of Humanities (UrFU), which includes not only psychologists, but also representatives of various scientific schools. A master's program in cognitive neuroscience works, to which both Russian and foreign students enter. Interesting studies are being carried out in laboratories. All this is a good base for holding major international events on the problems of neuroscience, ”believes Marina Klimenskikh, project manager, associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Psychology of UrFU.

Psychological scientific events have been supported more than once by grants and prestigious public awards. So, II Summer International Neuropsychological Online School named after A. R. Luria supported the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, and the International Forum on Cognitive Neurosciences won the Golden Psyche Prize for the second time.
