The project to create non-invasive smart sensors that will help to contactlessly monitor and control power systems will be implemented within the framework of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center of the world level "Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Materials". This approach will improve the reliability of the power system.The Ural Federal University, together with the i-TOR company, which produces modern devices for monitoring the parameters of the power system, plans to implement, within the framework of the REC, a project for the implementation of non-invasive smart sensors, which will allow non-contact, without introducing into existing networks, to monitor the parameters and provide the necessary data for managing power systems any complexity. The proposed solutions will allow you to fully integrate into the ideology of a digital substation. The sensor will help to reduce the weight and size of the equipment, shorten the time for connecting new measuring and control devices, and also increase the reliability of the power system.The agreement on the creation of the Ural interregional REC "Advanced production technologies and materials" with the participation of the Sverdlovsk, Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions was signed in July 2019 at the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom".
