Ural Universities Develop Relations with Osh State University

More than 1300 books were sent to Osh State

Last week, as part of the implementation of cooperation agreements, the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin, the Ural State Medical University and the Ural State Law University donated more than 1,300 monographs, educational and methodological aids to the library of the Osh State University (Osh, Kyrgyzstan).

The rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov in a response letter of thanks expressed deep gratitude and sincere gratitude to the rector and the staff of UrFU for the donated textbooks and teaching aids and noted that the literature received, in turn, will be actively used by teachers, students in the educational process and will make a great contribution to the development and enrichment of the university book fund.

The exchange of scientific literature is a logical continuation of the bilateral interuniversity partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the conceptual priorities of cooperation between the EAEU countries. Higher education systems in Russia and Kyrgyzstan have a rich common history and traditions, which is an additional factor for the full development of partnerships with a view to the future.

It is important to note that back in March 2019, with the participation of the heads of state and ministers of the two countries, the Forum of rectors of universities of Russia and Kyrgyzstan was held. Within the framework of the First Forum of Rectors of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, more than 70 bilateral agreements on cooperation between the universities of Russia and Kyrgyzstan were signed. The heads of the leading educational organizations of the two countries, in addition to expanding the number of partnerships, recorded the key areas of partnership - academic and, including teaching exchanges, deepening cooperation in the areas of physical and technical research, chemistry and biology.
