Five Enterprises of the Ural Interregional Research Education Center will Receive Financial Support

The government of the Sverdlovsk region will give from 5 to 25 million rubles to implement these developments

According to the results of the Sverdlovsk region government contest, five enterprises of the Ural Interregional Research Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" will receive from 5 to 25 million rubles for the implementation of developments this year. The winners included Prosoft-Systems, Megahim-Project, Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant, I-TOR and STM Innovation Development Center.

In early March the governor of Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuivashev ordered to allocate 100 million rubles from the regional budget to compensate part of the expenses of the Ural REC enterprises for implementing research and development projects in industrial production. The funds will be provided by the Foundation for Technological Development of the region's industry.

Thus, industrial enterprises will be able to compensate for the funds spent on the implementation of the Research and Development work within the framework of the complex project implementation. When selecting the winners, such indicators as significance, scientific, technical and commercial potential of the project, its compliance with the key activities of the Ural Research Education Center, as well as experience and qualification of the participants were taken into account.
