Special Navigator Introduces Freshmen to Life at University

The service will help enrollees learn more about the organization of academic and extracurricular life

First-year students enrolled in Ural Federal University can learn all the most important things about the university in the "Freshman Navigator". The service was launched on Knowledge Day. It will help students not only to get used to UrFU and understand the learning process, but also to understand what they can do outside of their classes.

"The advantage of the navigator is that it's much easier to navigate, everything complicated is written in simple language. And also on the main page you can choose interesting paths for the student - and the navigator itself prompts which organization to go to, in what events it will be interesting to participate", noted the team of the project.

The service has answers to the most frequent questions related to the current issues of vaccination against coronavirus, organization of educational process in the new environment. Not only detailed articles, but also visual maps and tours of academic buildings will help first-year students. Thanks to the navigator you don't need to sit on the website for a long time looking for some information: everything is collected in one place.

The navigator was prepared by the student editorial staff of the UrFU Media Center and representatives of the University Students' Union.
