University Students Became Winners of the All-Russian Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics

The UrFU team took third place

The All-Russian Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics was held at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University in a distance format. According to the results of the third round, the students of Ural Federal University took third place.

The participants were offered eight assignments in the main sections of theoretical mechanics, in the solutions of which the students demonstrated high skills in solving complex and unusual problems.

More than 140 students and 41 teams from Russia, Turkmenistan and Belarus took part in the intellectual competition. The first place was taken by the team from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, the second place went to ITMO University, and the bronze was shared by UrFU students with representatives from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
