From April 16 to April 22, on the platform of the Ural Federal University the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of school students on physical culture takes place. The organizer is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

258 students of 9-11th grades from 78 regions of Russia participate in the Olympiad. Together with the participants came 120 chaperones who master an additional educational program for teachers, while their charges pass the theoretical and practical tests.

Several days of the Olympiad competition passed. On April 17, participants took a theoretical stage, the practical tests to be held. The finalists have already managed to show their agility and flexibility in the competitions in games and gymnastics, now they will be tested in shooting and athletics.

"I have a fighting spirit. I went to the Olympiad in curiosity and to get vivid emotions. I performed well at the first tests. New tests are ahead," Kirill Klepikov from Tatarstan shared his impressions from the first days of the competitions.

The Olympiad program also includes cultural activities for school students. For example, after passing all the tests, participants will visit the Ural Federal University museum and exhibition complex, where they can get acquainted with the history of the university and Ekaterinburg, as well as go on a walking tour of the city.

The results of the final stage of the Olympiad will be announced on April 21 at the closing ceremony, which will be held in the Assembly Hall of the main academic building of Ural Federal University.
