Rector congratulates students, faculty and staff of the university on May Day

Victor Koksharov, Rector of the Ural Federal University, congratulated the faculty, staff and students of the university on the Festival of Spring and Labor.

"This day has always had a special meaning in our country, reflecting the tradition of respect for the man of labor. It is the solidarity of the peoples of our country based on the values of creation that helped us make a giant leap forward in our development and create the necessary economic base to solve the key state tasks and improve people's lives," said the head of the university in his congratulation.

According to Koksharov, today the ideals of labor solidarity are still in demand. It is difficult to overestimate their importance in conditions of development of large projects, formation of favorable business and production environment. Movement of the country forward is provided by those people who understand that well-being of an individual enterprise, a city, competitiveness of the country, its creative and constructive energy depends on their personal efforts, on the results of their labor.
