Students from Kyrgyzstan met with university alumni

Ural Federal University students met with UrFU alumni: Zharasul Abduraimov, Chairman of the Kyrgyzaltyn Board, and Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Alumni Association. The conversation was part of the Meetings project of the UrFU Alumni Association and the visit of a Kyrgyz delegation to sign agreements with UrFU at the industrial exhibition "Innoprom-2022".

"We will work with Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan to send young people to study at the Ural Federal University. Moreover, there is an excellent air and rail connection from Bishkek to Ekaterinburg," stressed Zharasul Abduraimov.

Zharasul Abduraimov noted that Kyrgyzaltyn and Kyrgyzindustry lack highly qualified specialists, and students from Kyrgyzstan educated at UrFU can build promising careers at the enterprises. Specialists are needed in many areas: mining, mechanical engineering, instrumentation, IT, new materials, chemical technology, biotechnology, etc.

Russian students and specialists are also welcome at the companies. They get help with living conditions, relocation, and a high level of wages.
