More than 400 Students Graduated the Preparatory Department

Students in the Preparatory Department for International Students at Ural Federal University have completed the 2021/22 academic year. More than 400 people received certificates with test scores and language proficiency assignments. Most of them plan to enter Russian universities, 70% of the students want to continue their studies at UrFU.

The graduation and presentation of certificates took place in the Demidovsky Hall on 51 Lenin Avenue. The ceremony was also attended by distance learners.

Teachers and students prepared musical numbers and miniatures based on student life. The event was held entirely in Russian. In addition, awards were given to the best graduates at each level and students who took an active part in extracurricular life.

"Believe me, you will remember your time at the university forever, the people you studied with will stay with you for life. Appreciate these moments and don't miss opportunities," Maksim Dokuchaev, director of the Ekaterinburg Museum Center, congratulated the graduates. The guest also invited foreigners to a series of meetings on the history of the city.

In the academic year 2021/22, over 500 students from 67 countries studied at the Preparatory Department, both full-time and distance. Also this year the UrFU Russian Language Center in Egypt started its work, where more than 70 students were trained.
